“ Very nice and cozy restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere! Chef Ogi and all the staff are very friendly and polite)) They have a menu in English - we ordered a set of 5 types of meat, which we cooked ourselves on the built-in grill - it was very very tasty and super fresh meat! I highly recommend ordering a portion of rice with meat and sake ”
“ We had the set dinner meal, JPY10,000 per person. Wasn't exactly the fullest meal (and we are two Asian females). Good quality meat but everything is in a tiny portion. Free flow drinks during the 2 hour dining window. ”
“ For me, it was the best dining experience I had in Tokyo. That's why I went there twice ;-) Excellent meat quality, super service and a great atmosphere. Especially my last evening in the restaurant with chef Ogi was a great experience. ”
“ Perfection! I have been to several Michelin Star restaurants including Don Julio. For me “No Meat, No Life” matches those restaurants. Price quality balance is very good. The quality of the A5 Wagyu is wunderful. Soft like butter and a rich flavour yet perfectly balanced. You can taste the chef selects and treats the cuts very well. He also was very friendly and helpful: EG when he recommended his favourite sauce (which I agree upon). The serving staff completed the five star experience. They even welcomed with a hand written personal welcoming card on the table. Very friendly, polite and perfect timing of serving beverages, wet towels etcetera. We had a wunderful time and if I will visit Tokyo again, I will make sure to plan another visit! ”
“ No Meat No Life is a lovely small restaurant with incredible service and food. Chef Ogi was fantastic. It’s an experience as well as great quality. The set meal is well worth it. Drinks are unlimited too. ”
“ This place was great! It was cozy and inviting. The food was great. We had one of the courses with the six types of Wagyu and it was delicious. Ogi was super nice and helped us understand which cuts of meat we were having. I am definitely coming back!! The beef ramen was very good, I’ve never had it before!!! ”
“ A perfect meal for foodies! I had the Matsuri course (NO inside organs), and it was plentiful! Jiro is a wonderful chef, and the entire staff was extremely attentive. We made a reservation for the restaurant about 30 minutes before our reservation time, and a greeting sign was waiting for us. A true hidden gem!! ”
“ What a pleasant surprise to stumble into this fantastic little restaurant. Unlike any other restaurant I’ve ever been in, you cook your own food. We were looking for meat and we found it. Staff was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. And somebody went through the trouble of making an English menu along with English cards that explain the sauces and explain other aspects of eating at the restaurant. ”
